The Starosedlsky Hradek (Old Castle) is situated near a lake in a picturesque rustic setting in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic.
Built originally in the 14th century. In 1999 the castle underwent a complex reconstruction and was turned into a luxury hotel.

There are 14 rooms with king-sized beds, 5 rooms with twin beds and 1 room with a single bed. All rooms are en-suite, 6 with baths and the rest with en-suite showers.

The castle also offers two restaurants, three bars, 2 working fireplaces, billiard room, fitness centre and two saunas with mini swimming pools.

All the furniture is handmade from mahogany.

There is a large forest with deer, wild boars and goats, The lake was built in the 15th century and there's a vast quantity of carp.
In the castle grounds you can also find a 15th century chapel of Holy Trinity, Japanese garden with a small pond and a giant floor chess.

The castle cellar has perfect conditions for storing wines.

The castle is located in a rural area, away from industrial estates.

The castle was used as a hotel in the past and was being regularly (13-14 weekends a year) rented out by aristocratic families from Austria, Germany, Italy and Switzerland.
