Czech population increases in 2016
The population of the Czech Republic increased by 18,600 in the first nine months of 2016 year-on-year, according to the Czech Statistics Office. This number was largely affected by immigration mainly from Slovakia and Ukraine. 1,200 more babies than were deaths in the same period. The overall population of the Czech Republic is now 10,572,400 million people. Which is all positive news for increasing demand for housing in the country.
