Czech Republic Mortgages
Sim Property provides our clients with a complete range of mortgages options in the Czech Republic.
Currently it is relative easy for foreigners to get a mortgage in the Czech Republic:
- it helps to be an EU citizen, but citizens of other countries can also get a mortgage in the Czech Republic
- it helps to be employed (as opposed to being unemployed or self-employed), though products of people who are not employed also exist
- it helps if you have income from the Czech Republic (but income from other countries is also counted)
- it helps if already have a track record of regularly paying a loan/mortgage in the Czech Republic (but doesn’t matter if not)
Typical mortgage terms for foreigners are:
- 85% LTV
- 1.79% interest rate
- 25 year terms
- repayment mortgages only
Czech citizens may also obtain 100% LTV mortgages (in some cases foreigners can as well but usually at worse interest rates).
We can produce an initial mortgage quote for you in a matter of days and the whole mortgage application process takes approximately 1 month.
